Those who lined their pockets via the Spirit inception tout that they put some of their money on the line (Turner and his crew, in particular) and deserve rewards therefore. <BR/><BR/>Sheesh. The event took some piece out of Boeing that was stable and moved it outside. What risk was there with that? <BR/><BR/>Well, there may have been uncertainty about the stock price and how many buyers, but that was probably lined up fairly early (look at the types that received the most stock). <BR/><BR/>Oh, by the way, Boeing may have incurred most of the risk in terms of potentially diminished goodwill and reputation. <BR/><BR/>Definitely, many Boeing people experienced more risks (real and measurable - as opposed to that fictional variant argued by those with big pockets) due to lost pension and other benefits, not to mention the loss of belief in Boeing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
